Two Stanley Cup Championships 

2002-03: One of only four Red Wings to play all 82 regular season games (Draper, Lidstrom, Maltby)....Finished season with a career total of 716 goals placing him fifth all-time only one behind Phil Esposito (717)....Led club in goals (37)....Scored 700th career goal 2/10/03 vs. San Jose (Nabokov) assisted by Pavel Datsyuk and Sergei Fedorov....Recorded 1,300th career point in a three-point effort 2/27/03 vs. Toronto assisting on Henrik Zetterbergs first period goal....Hull would score his then 25th and 26th goals of the season later in the game....His 37 goals marks the 16th consecutive season he has scored 20 or more in a single season, the longest such streak in the NHL....Assisted on another Zetterberg goal 3/7/03 vs. St. Louis to record his 600th career assist....Posted his first hat trick of the season (32nd career) 3/16/03 vs. Ottawa (P. Lalime-2, Ray Emery-1)....Second hat trick (33rd career) came 3/29/03 at St. Louis (Osgood)....Appeared in all four of Detroits 2003 first round playoff series vs. Anaheim notching one assist in Game Four and finishing the series with a minus-four rating.USA Hockey presented Hull with the Distinguished Achievement Award in June 2003....The award is presented annually to a U.S. Citizen who has made hockey his or her profession and has made outstanding contributions, on or off the ice, to the sport in America.

2001-02:
One of only three Red Wings to play 82 games (Draper, Maltby).Finished third overall in club scoring with 63 points.One of four Red Wings to tally 30 or more goals.11th  time in his career scoring at least 30 goals.15th consecutive season scoring 20 or more goals, the longest current streak in the NHL.Posted his 1,200th career point with an assist (one of two) 11/16/01 vs. Minnesota.Scored seven power play goals, one shorthanded goal and four game-winners.Tallied 31st career hat-trick 1/26/02 at St. Louis, added two assists and finishing +4, in a 5-2 win over his former team.Finished regular season +18.Played in all 23 of Detroits 2002 post-season contests scoring his first career playoff hat-trick in the deciding Game Six at Vancouver 4/27/02.Set club high in playoff goals (10) and finished 2002 playoffs with 18 points (fourth overall on club).Scored three playoff power play goals, two playoff shorthanded goals and two playoff game-winners.

1999-2000:
Was tied for 14th in the NHL in power play goals (11) and tied for 16th in power play points (11-16-27)...led Dallas in shots (223), tied for first in power play goals (11), was second in goals (24), assists (35), points (59) and games played (79)...Recorded his 600th goal of his career in his 900th NHL game on Dec. 31 vs. Anaheim, the first of two goals on the night... 1998 Olympics: Represented the United States at the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan in February...Tied for the team lead with two goals and three points in the tournament...Had a season-high seven-game scoring streak to close out the season from Apr. 7-19 (1-9-10)...Played in his 800th career NHL game on Apr. 18 at Phoenix.

1996-97: Led the Blues in goals scored (42) for the ninth straight seasonfinished 2nd on the Blues and 16th in the NHL with 82 points...Recorded his 900th career point on Feb. 25, 1997 at Tampa Bay...Scored his 500th NHL goal on Dec. 22, 1996 vs. Los Angeles in his 691st career game, becoming the fourth fastest player of all-time to reach that plateau...Named to the All-Tournament Team for the 1996 World Cup of Hockey...Led the tournament in goals (7) and points (11) as Team USA captured the championship.

1995-96: He topped the Blues in goals (43), shorthanded goals (5), GWG (6) and shots (327)...Notched his second career four-goal game on Oct. 10 vs. Edmonton...Registered his 800th career point with an assist on Jan. 14, 1996 vs. NY Rangers.

1994-95: Led the Blues with 29 goals (6th in NHL), 50 points, nine PPG and 200 shots (2nd in NHL)...Scored four goals in a game for the first time in his career on Apr. 16, 1995 vs. Detroit...Scored a rare 3-on-5 shorthanded goal on Apr. 2 at Detroit...Led club with six goals in the 1995 playoffs..

1993-94:
Ranked second in the NHL in goals scored with 57, his fifth consecutive 50+ goal season...Tied for the NHL lead with 25 PPG, his 5th straight season with 20+ PPG...Was second in the NHL in shots (392) and 11th in points (97)...Became the Blues all-time leader in goals scored when he scored his 353rd as a Blue on Jan. 2, 1994 vs. Calgary, passing Bernie Federko.

1992-93: He recorded his fourth consecutive 100-point, 50-goal season (54-47-101)...Led all players in All-Star voting for the third consecutive season.

1991-92: Became the second player in NHL history to score 70+ goals in three straight seasons (Gretzky, 4) when he led the NHL with 70 goals...Finished fourth in the NHL with 109 points...Led the league with 408 shots on goal, the fourth highest single season total in NHL history...Recorded the NHLs longest goal scoring streak (10 games, 14 goals, tying career-high) and point scoring streaks (25 games, 31-15-46, career-high) of the season...Scored 50 goals in 50 games or less for the second time in his career (scored 50th in his 50th game, Jan. 28, 1992 at Los Angeles)...Only Hull and Gretzky have posted back-to-back seasons with 50 goals in 50 or less games...Named MVP of the 1992 NHL All-Star Game after collecting two goals and an assist...Was named to the post-season NHL First Team All-Star Team for the third consecutive season...Helped lead Team USA to a silver medal in the 1991 Canada Cup with nine points (2-7-9) in eight contests.

1990-91: Shattered his own record for goals by a right wing in a season, when he scored 86, breaking his record of 72...Only Gretzky has scored more goals in a season (92 in 1981-82; 87 in 1983-84)...For the 2nd consecutive season, led the NHL in goals, PPG (29), GWG (11) and shots (389)...Outscored the NHLs 2nd place goal scorer, Cam Neely, by 35 goals...Recorded his 50th goal of the season in the 49th game on Jan. 25, 1991 at Detroit...Was second in the NHL with 131 points...Posted 40 multi-point games and 27 multi-goal games...Became the only Blue to receive the Hart Trophy as the NHLs MVP...Also won the Lester B. Pearson Award and was named to the post-season NHL First All-Star Team.

1989-90: He originally set the mark for goals in a season by a right wing with 72...Led the NHL in goals (72), PPG (27), GWG (12) and shots (385)...Was fifth in the league in scoring with 113 points...Posted a 20-game point scoring streak  from Dec. 30-Feb. 11 (21-14-35)...Won the NHLs Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship.

1988-89: Led the Blues with 41 goals and 84 points...Tied for the team lead in PPG (16) and GWG (6)...Played in his first NHL All-Star Game.

1987-88: Began the season with Calgary...After playing in 52 games with the Flames (26-24-50), was dealt to the Blues on Mar. 7, 1988...Finished the season third among NHL rookies in goals (32) and points (64).

1986-87:  Started the season with Moncton (AHL) where he became only the second rookie in AHL history to score 50 goals in a season...Was named the Minor League Player of the Year by The Hockey News...Had three stints with the Flames, scoring his first NHL point and goal on Nov. 13, 1986 vs. Hartford...Made his NHL debut on May 20, 1986 in Game Three of the Stanley Cup Finals at the Montreal Forum.

1985-86: Began the season with Minnesota-Duluth and played for the U.S. team at the World Championships before signing with Calgary.

 

AMATEUR CAREER:  Played two seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth...Led the NCAA in goals scored with 52 in 1985-86, still the UMD single-season record...Holds the WCHA record for goals scored by a freshman with 32 in 1984-85 when he was named WCHA Freshman of the Year...Was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 1986.
